(a) Special Note for Interest Bearing Accounts: The interest rate and annual percentage yield may change at any time at the discretion of First State Bank. If you close your account before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest. We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of non-cash items (for example checks). Fees could reduce earnings.

(b) Federal regulations limit the number of transfers, withdrawals or combinations thereof from these accounts to another account of the depositor at the same institution or to a third party by means of a pre-authorized, automatic or telephonic agreement, order or instruction. Such transactions are limited to six (6) per calendar month, statement cycle or similar period of at least four weeks. (Note: on Money Market Accounts, six (6) covered transactions are extended to include those made by check, draft or debit card, made by the depositor and payable to third parties).
